Molly Stark-Ragsdale is a director, producer, editor and co-founder of the production company NineLark. Her latest documentary, Idle Warriors, about environmental bounty hunters is set to premiere in 2026 after screening at the Banff Mountain Film Festival among others. Her pilot, Leonard’s Fourteen Lives, was selected as a semi-finalist for the Maven Screen Media and Stowe Story Labs fellowship, and a quarterfinalist for the Screencraft Screenwriting fellowship. Molly got her start in film as a Properties Assistant on Kelly Reichardt’s, First Cow. She worked as a producer’s assistant on shows Shrill and Chad, and as Director Peter Sollett’s Assistant on Netflix’s Metal Lords. She assisted Director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Venom) on Sony’s Uncharted and worked in development for his production company The District (The White Lotus, Jury Duty Superstore). Growing up in the mountains of Montana with intermittent years living in Spain, Mozambique, and Brazil, Molly is now based in New York. She's currently in post-production with her latest narrative short, I Want You To Have Richard, starring Oona Roche and Carrie Collier.
